A mission that started with the facilities everyone forgets until they fail
Industrial Rental Co was founded by Gavin Woodward on a simple frustration: the businesses and institutions that need temporary equipment the most are too often the ones left scrambling for it. When a hospital loses sterilization steam, a school loses heat in January, or a plant loses cooling in a heat wave, the clock starts immediately, and the old way of finding help meant calling rental yards one at a time and hoping someone picked up.
Hospitals and schools have been underserved in exactly these moments, when a single failure can put patients, students, and staff at risk. We started this company to put a better process in place: one that helps make sure the infrastructure our communities count on keeps running, by getting a clear request to qualified providers quickly instead of leaving a facility manager alone on the phone during an emergency.
A matching service, not a rental company
We want to be clear about what we are. Industrial Rental Co does not own boilers, chillers, generators, or trucks, and we do not send out crews. We are the matching layer between the facilities that need temporary equipment and the third-party providers who own it, maintain it, and deliver it. We build a full profile of your facility, your specifications on file with us, and route that request to vetted providers positioned to serve your site. Owning no equipment is the point, not a caveat. A rental company can only quote what sits on its own yard. We have nothing to push, so the match is driven by your needs, not by what we happen to have on a lot.
That model exists to save you the slowest part of an outage: the search. Instead of repeating the same specs to yard after yard, one structured request reaches several qualified providers at the same time, so quotes come back in parallel. Response times vary by location and provider availability, which is exactly why a request goes to multiple providers rather than depending on any single one.

The certifications and coverage belong to the providers themselves, and confirming them up front is part of how we protect the facilities we serve.
